He finished the Tashkent Art College in 1985. Kontarge immigrated in Israel in 1991 and from 1997. He participated in several solo and group exhibitions in Israel and USA. For the period 2000-2003 the artist participated in design and décor of the Silver Spring Jewish center. The project includes more than 14 paintings and murals. The art of Shimon Kontarge includes different genres and styles such as realist portraits made in classical Italian manner, impressionist landscapes, psychological surrealism and also colorful mosaic murals. Since 2002 the artist mainly works in relief expressionism using mixed technique.

The art of Kloyzner includes different genres and styles such as realist landscapes, animals, and thematic works. In 2001 she repatriated to Israel. She participated in many solo and group art exhibitions in Ukraine and Israel.
